On arrival at Keflavik Airport, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. The rest of your day is free for exploring Reykjavik , taken an scenic stroll around the old harbour or visits to museums and city landmarks. Enjoy a guided small group walking tour in the heart of Reykjavik . Over the course of the 2-hour walk, your knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the landmarks and highlights of the downtown area while pointing out great restaurants, charming cafés and interesting activities available in Iceland’s charismatic capital city. Later in the evening, if weather conditions allow, you will be taken for a tour in search of the magnificent northern lights, also known as aurora borealis.

Downtown you will find a variety of interesting shops, design boutiques, museums and galleries, and the city offers many great thermal swimming pools and spas for those who crave extra relaxation. Today would also be ideal to try out a guided horseback ride or go on a whale watching tour from the city's old harbour.
Today we transfer you back to Airport for your onward Journey or for your flight back home. Please be advised that daylight is limited in Iceland during the winter months, with about 4-5 hours of daylight during the holidays, from December to January.
